About This Event
If you would join The LA Wheelmen http://www.lawheelmen.org/ “Newcomers’ Ride” https://www.meetup.com/los-angeles-bicycling/events/283250110/ and start from Downtown Los Angeles AND add some more qualifying miles. We will have a feeder ride starting at Los Angeles State Historical Park.
Rolling at exactly 7:30 am This allows us time to ride and meet with the main ride. The combined distances will give you around 40 miles for the whole ride.
Route Info: Leave from the State Park and catch the LA River Trail to the LA Zoo Parking Lot - See photo below for exit.

LA Firecracker Riders: This will give you approximately 40 miles and will qualify for your virtual ride. https://firecracker10k.org/bike This is a non-sanctioned LA Firecracker event.
Requirements: A positive attitude, sufficient water, snacks, a spare innertube and a bike in good mechanical condition. Helmets are mandatory. Lycra is optional.
Parking: Free Parking along N Spring St and adjacent side streets - Some sections have 2 hour limit (check signs). Paid parking inside the State Park.
Direct access via Metro Gold Line Chinatown Train Station or just ride to the start location.
Ebike? - OK if it is Class 1 or 3 and you keep a pace consistent with the group.
Guests? - OK - Bring them along or better yet have them sign up.
