Join us for a 7 mile/700 ft elevation gain hike in the Simi Hills and northern section of the Santa Monica Mountains. Hike will begin at the Doubletree trailhead to Palo Comado Canyon and make a clockwise loop to Shepherds Flat, down through Cheseboro Canyon and a return via Ranch Center Connector.
Directions
From 101 Fwy, take Kanan Rd exit. Turn North towards Oak Park 2 ¼ mi to Sunnycrest Dr and turn Right. Continue ¾ mi to where Sunnycrest Dr changes name to Doubltree Rd and park at curb at the 4th(?) "Public Open Space" sign.
Bring 2 Qt water, snack, sunscreen
