About This Event
Our first hike of the year will be a little farther west than we usually go, into the Los Robles area of the Santa Monica Mountains. But since its a holiday and there will be little traffic the extra distance will not pose a hardship for SF Valleyites. See https://www.cosf.org/w... We will do the Triunfo/Los Robles/White Horse hike as described here: https://www.cosf.org/w... (https://www.cosf.org/website/html/triunfo-los-robles-white-horse.html) and add on the area to the north and east to make it a nice 8-10 mile hike. Other options extending the hike will be considered
To get to the trailhead head west on 101 and exit Westlake Bl. Turn left on Westlake Bl for 1.1 miles and turn right on Triunfo for 0.4 miles. Make a left onto Tamarack and into Park. Park in 2nd parking lot.
If you are coming from Ventura side exit Hampshire Rd south to Triunfo. Turn right on Triunfo and right on Tamarack.
