DESCRIPTION:Get multiple Fun Cycling Events for the price of 1. We start from the Los Angeles State Historic Park where there is free parking on adjacent streets (see our interactive route map). We follow a test route for next year's Firecracker bike ride onto the Los Angeles River Bike Trail and mix it with bike friendly roads through Griffith Park. Reentering the bike path\, we return and merge into the Chinatown Hub of CicLAvia.\\n\\n\\n\\nParticipants of this ride will have an opportunity for free SWAG and a discount for the LA Firecracker event next year. Available at the end of the ride at the Firecracker booth in Chinatown.\\n\\n\\n\\nAfter the ride\, you will be able to experience CicLAvia at your own pace.\\n\\n\\n\\nTake advantage of free parking (or take the Metro). Explore the LA River. Pass by the Autry Museum\, LA Zoo and Travel Town. Enjoy the Heart of Los Angeles on two wheels.\\n\\n\\n\\n20 Mile Easy Out &amp\; Back to Griffith Park along the LA River Bike Path - 90% on Bike Path https://ridewithgps.com/routes/44692230\\nWe will be traveling at a relaxed recreational pace averaging 12 mph.\\n\\n\\n\\nCome early for the best parking spots. We roll promptly at 8:15 am.\\n\\n\\n\\nRequirements:\\nHelmets are mandatory. Make sure your bike is in good operating condition and bring at least one spare inner tube.\\n\\n\\n\\nThis is a self supported ride – there is no SAG. In case of a major mechanical breakdown\, plan on calling an Uber or phone a friend.\\nBring sufficient liquids/hydration and snacks/energy bar/gels… etc for the ride length and temperature.\\n\\n\\n\\nEbike? - OK if it is Class 1 or 3 and you keep a pace consistent with the group.\\n\\n\\n\\nParking: Free Parking along N Spring St and adjacent side streets - Paid parking inside the State Park. Meters are free on Sunday.\\n\\n\\n\\nDirect access via Metro Gold Line Chinatown Train Station or just ride to the start location.\\n\\n\\n\\nRestrooms inside the Los Angeles State Park (Opens at 8:00 am).
