DESCRIPTION:This event features a 40 mile ride starting from LA State Park in Downtown Los Angeles based on the LA Firecracker Bike Route. It will be a relaxed pace ride averaging 14-16 mph.\\n\\n\\n\\nThis ride is free and we are looking for feedback on the route so we can make improvements before event day.\\n\\n\\n\\nRoute https://ridewithgps.com/routes/41653582 We start at Cargo Snack Shack and will connect to the official route\\n\\n\\n\\nThe Main Event https://firecracker10k.org/bike#content\\n\\n\\n\\nRequirements:\\nHelmets are mandatory. Make sure your bike is in good operating condition and bring at least one spare inner tube.\\n\\n\\n\\nThis is a self supported ride – there is no SAG. In case of a major mechanical breakdown\, plan on calling an Uber or phone a friend.\\nBring sufficient liquids/hydration and snacks/energy bar/gels… etc for the ride length and temperature.\\n\\n\\n\\nEbike? - OK if it is Class 1 or 3 and you keep a pace consistent with the group.\\n\\n\\n\\nParking: Free Parking along adjacent side streets - Paid parking inside the State Park. Come early for the best parking spots. Check signs for time limits.\\n\\n\\n\\nDirect access via Metro Gold Line Chinatown Train Station or just ride to the start location.\\n\\n\\n\\nRestrooms inside the Los Angeles State Park (Opens at 8:00 am).
