DESCRIPTION:Palos Verdes is a hidden gem that few venture out to really explore. This bike ride takes a leisurely visit to a light house\, replica of the White House\, glass church\, oceanside resort\, golf course\, hidden parks\, coastal hiking and bike trails. It follows the coastline with multi million dollar views and cool ocean breezes.\\n\\n\\n\\nThere is much more that we can cover on this 21 mile ride and we might take some unplanned stops/detours if there is interest/time. Be sure to bring a camera and strong legs (or ebike) as there will be 1\,600 feet of climbing with a few short but steep sections. This ride is not recommended for beginners or those not comfortable climbing hills.\\n\\n\\n\\nIt starts from a public parking lot with spectacular views that span from Malibu to Catalina Island on a clear day. Most of the riding will be on quiet residential streets or marked bike lanes. Please arrive on time as we plan to roll promptly at 9:00 am.\\n\\n\\n\\nThis will be a leisurely no drop ride and we will make multiple stops to regroup and take pictures. Lycra is optional and we expect a mix of regular bikes and ebikes. Make sure your bike is in good operating condition and bring at least one spare inner tube. This is a self supported ride – there is no SAG. In case of a major mechanical breakdown\, plan on calling an Uber or phone a friend.
