DESCRIPTION:This hike has just about everything: Caves\, creeks\, waterfalls\, velvety green meadows\, flowers\, sandstone formations and artifacts. We start at Dayton Canyon Park then loop around the Woolsey Canyon Open Space\\n\\n\\n\\nDayton Canyon Park is 276 acres recently given to the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy by the Sterling Homes development at the bottom of the canyon.\\n\\n\\n\\nHike is 5.5 miles with 1\,000 feet total ascent and is rated MEDIUM. Park on right shortly after the pocket park on the left. We meet on sidewalk near a black wrought iron gate in fence.
