DESCRIPTION:Get your Spahnwear here: https://amzn.to/3upeYWf\\n\\n\\n\\nThis hike was originally scheduled for 2/5 and postponed due to high winds.\\n\\n\\n\\nOur 7-mile medium hike will be steeped in local history and lore. We'll begin our trek at Chatsworth Park where we'll find our way to the Old Stagecoach Rd. From the top of the Old Stagecoach Rd we'll hook up with the Mattingly Trail and take that to the Spahn Ranch. We'll return via the El Camino Nuevo.\\n\\n\\n\\nBe sure to review hike details and historical context here: https://www.hikingwithdean.com/event/spahn-ranch/\\n\\n\\n\\nThis is not a beginner hike\\n\\n\\n\\nDirections\\nGo all the way to the west end of Devonshire and enter park. Follow Shadow Oak Dr. around and bear left to parking lot. You'll pass some overflow parking along the way -- you may need it \;). We meet at the northwest corner of parking lot\\n----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\\n\\n\\n\\nTrail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.\\n\\n\\n\\nTrail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.\\n\\n\\n\\nThe Organizers and members of Hiking With Dean are not professional leaders\, guides\, or mountaineers. The function of the member or organizer is only to organize the trip. Each person who shows up for a trip/meetup (and their guest or guests) is responsible for his or her own safety.
