DESCRIPTION:The Full Moon in July is the Buck Moon\, named after the new antlers that emerge from a buck's forehead around this time of the year. It is also called Thunder Moon\, Hay Moon\, and Wort Moon.\\n\\n\\n\\n"Mt Basura" is my name for the Calabasas/Lost Hills Landfill. Our destination is a small peak overlooking the landfill with views of Calabasas and Agoura beyond.\\n\\n\\n\\n🍽Bring drink and light snacks to share.\\n\\n\\n\\nOur usual hikes to Mt Basura are about 8-9 miles. I have created a shorter option of about 5.8 miles with about 1\,400' total ascent. The trails are clear and wide -- perfect for a moonlit hike.\\n\\n\\n\\n👉NO WHITE LIGHTS ALLOWED ON HIKE. Green and/or red lights are ok (but lights may not be needed since the area will be well lit by the moon).\\n\\n\\n\\nIf you require a white light then this hike is not for you.
