It's the scariest hike this side of Transylvania!\\n\\n\\n\\nDue to ongoing development in the area our exact path can change at any time\, but I estimate it to be a little less than 5 miles with 1060' elevation gain. There is water in a section of the creek - you might get your toes wet. Long pants recommended if you are sensitive to poison oak.\\n\\n\\n\\nHike is rated MEDIUM due to terrain. Do not block any gates or trails. There is additional parking on Candice Pl.\\n\\n\\n\\nAdvice - avoid the Twin Lakes neighborhood roads. Use Chatsworth St to connect Topanga\, Owensmouth or De Soto to Canoga.\\n\\n\\n\\nIMPORTANT\\nTrail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.\\n\\n\\n\\nTrail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.\\n\\n\\n\\nThe Organizers and members in this group are not professional leaders\, guides\, or mountaineers.
