DESCRIPTION:We've been doing this one in Chatsworth/Twin Lakes since 2009. It's the scariest hike this side of Transylvania!\\n\\n\\n\\nDue to ongoing development in the area our exact path is unknown at this time\, but I estimate it to be about 3 miles with 700' elevation gain. I will have more accurate figures after pre-scouting the area.\\n\\n\\n\\nThe decorations are a little worn and I don't know if the solar lights are still working\, but it will be a fun hike. There is a nice spot where we can share some drinks and small bites -- so bring the "good stuff"\\n\\n\\n\\nHike is rated MEDIUM due to terrain. Use major arteries to get to Topanga and Poema\\n\\n\\n\\nCheck out the map and familiarize yourself with the destination and neighborhood. Carpooling is recommended (see Warner Center Park and Ride).\\n\\n\\n\\nTrail statistics are approximate. For safety purposes always assume they are underestimated. But don’t be disappointed if they are overestimated. Bring more water and snacks than you think you’ll need.\\n\\n\\n\\nTrail descriptions are based on previous hikes. Current conditions are unknown until arrival. Expect the unexpected and plan accordingly.\\n\\n\\n\\nThe Organizers and members in this group are not professional leaders\, guides\, or mountaineers.
