DESCRIPTION:The Columbia Sportswear’s footwear product creation team has asked me to lead a hike for them. They are flying down from Portland to get some consumer insights and to better understand what someone might be looking for in an urban hike where they might go out for lunch afterward.\\n\\n\\n\\nWe'll be doing our Eagle Rock-Musch loop at a leisurely pace with 5.5 miles and 1\,100' total ascent\\n\\n\\n\\nCome to the hike with an open mind as the Columbia team will be asking some of you questions about what goes into picking what you wear on our hikes.\\n\\n\\n\\nFor detailed hike description see https://www.hikingwithdean.com/event/hiking-with-columbia-sportswear-brunch-the-canyon-bistro/\\n\\n\\n\\nPost hike lunch is down the street at Canyon Bistro (120 N. Topanga Canyon Bl.) https://www.canyonbistrotopanga.com/\\n\\n\\n\\nVisit the Columbia Sportswear Store on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2TkGFNX\\n\\n\\n\\nDirections to Trail Head\\n\\n\\n\\nFrom Topanga Canyon Boulevard\, turn east on Entrada Road\; that's to the left if you are coming from the San Fernando Valley. Follow Entrada Road by turning left at every opportunity until you arrive at the turn into park.\\n\\n\\n\\nPark on street before the left turn into park. We will meet on the corner. Do not park in pay lot.\\n\\n\\n\\nThe Organizers and members of Hiking With Dean are not professional leaders\, guides\, or mountaineers. The function of the member or organizer is only to organize the trip. Each person who shows up for a trip/meetup (and their guest or guests) is responsible for his or her own safety.
