DESCRIPTION:We did an adventurous version of this hike last February with high water and some bushwhacking around the creeks to stay dry. This time we should be able to do the originally planned hike and stay along the creek beds.\\n\\n\\n\\nHere are the picks from the "Adventure Hike" version: http://www.meetup.com/localhikers/photos/all_photos/?photoAlbumId=25947413\\n\\n\\n\\nEasy-paced 8 mile (appx) loop hike begins at the north end of Canoga Avenue and meanders north through Chatsworth's Deer Lake Highlands and a network of of equestrian trails. From above the highlands we will descend into Echo Canyon creating a loop with Devils Canyon. Devils Canyon with it's spectacular rock formations created 80 million years ago in a marine environment makes for a haunting yet beautiful hike.
