DESCRIPTION:*NEW TIME**NEW TIME**NEW TIME*\\n\\n\\n\\nWe are combining two great hikes into one. This will be a 12 mile shuttle hike with 2\,500' gain along a shady and rocky section of the Backbone Trail. We'll meet at the Malibu Canyon trailhead\, shuttle to the Dead Horse trailhead and start the hike there.\\n\\n\\n\\nhttp://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/2/5/6/4/600_397689572.jpeg\\n\\n\\n\\nThe first half of the hike\, and where most of the elevation gain will be had\, is along shady Hondo Canyon to Fossil Ridge. Normally this would be about a 9 mile out and back hike.
