DESCRIPTION:Some say the open spaces and trails lacing Porter Ranch serves as a nice model for community development. Others will argue that the Valley would be a better place without the square miles of new housing developments. But at least we still have the opportunity to wander the remaining vestiges of two riparian canyons and a cliff-rimmed hillside blanketed with aromatic sage.\\n\\n\\n\\nSo let us set out for the suburban stronghold of Porter Ranch for a variegated 8 mile loop through the hidden wilds and wild suburbia of the north valley including Aliso and Limekiln Canyons. Turn north toward the hills and make a left on Rinaldi. Drive about 0.2 mi and park at curb. Trailhead is on the right across the street from World Vision Church.
