DESCRIPTION:4-mile easy-to-moderate hike around moss-covered boulders and along a shady fern-lined segment of the backbone trail. We'll take a snack break at our turnaround point next to a running stream. (Those who want something more challenging can leave the group and continue to Saddle Peak for a strenuous 12-mile round trip)\\n\\n\\n\\nPark on the Southeast corner of Piuma Rd and Malibu Canyon.\\n\\n\\n\\nFrom the 101: Get off at Las Virgenes Rd/Malibu Canyon and go south approximately 5 miles. Make a left on Piuma and park on corner lot\\n\\n\\n\\nFrom PCH: Take Malibu Cyn Rd north about 4.5 miles and make a right into the corner lot at Piuma\\n\\n\\n\\nNote: There is additional parking across the street on Malibu Canyon. You will need at least $5.00 exact change to park there
