BYOB\\n\\n\\n\\nHere is the plan: From the Sycamore Campground parking lot we'll hike up Big Sycamore Canyon for about a mile and then head east on the Serrano trail into a densely wooded narrow canyon\, with a lovely seasonal stream criss-crossing the trail numerous times\, and abundant wildlife.\\n\\n\\n\\nAs we begin to gain elevation and the trail starts turning north a stunning vista of rolling grasslands set against the steep outlines of Boney Ridge begins to emerge. We will continue through the valley across the grasslands and up the Boney Ridge. We will take our snack break here on the western shoulder of Boney Mountain.\\n\\n\\n\\nAfter our well-deserved break we'll hook up with the Old Boney trail and head down into Sycamore Canyon which gets its name form its abundance of giant sycamore trees lining its path and complete the loop after several stream crossings.\\n\\n\\n\\nBring plenty of water and hiking shoes you don't mind getting wet. Long pants are advisable.\\n\\n\\n\\nI couldn't find an exact address for the point where we are meeting. If you go to the address posted then turn north on Sycamore Canyon Rd it will be on your left across from ranger station -- you can't miss it.
