DESCRIPTION:Join us for an easy-paced 8.5 mile hike alongside a creek bed\, rolling grasslands and oak groves. For more details and a trail map see brochure in Files section (https://files.meetup.com/454296/Palo%20Comado_Cheeseboro.pdf). This hike is rated "moderate-to-strenuous" with a 1\,200' elevation gain.\\n\\n\\n\\nMeet 9:00 am at the trailhead.\\n\\n\\n\\nDirections:\\n\\n\\n\\nFrom 101 Fwy\, take Kanan Rd exit. Turn North towards Oak Park 2 ¼ mi to Sunnycrest Dr and turn Right. Continue ¾ mi to where Sunnycrest Dr changes name to Doubltree Rd and park at curb at the 4th(?) "Public Open Space" sign. There is also a large yellow sign announcing planned water tank site "A8."\\n\\n\\n\\nFrom LA/PCH take Malibu Canyon up to the 101 North (left) and exit Kanan as above.\\n\\n\\n\\nBring at least 2 Qt water\, snacks/lunch
