DESCRIPTION:While this may be a familiar hike to many\, perhaps not all are familiar with the Vanowen trailhead. We'll take a lunch at the ranch house.\\n\\n\\n\\nHike is 6-7 miles with mild elevation gain. A good hike for fit beginners. Bring 2 qts water\, snacks or lunch\, hiking shoes (sturdy sneakers ok)\\n\\n\\n\\nDirections: Go to the west end of Vanowen St and park on street\\n\\n\\n\\nFrom the 101 freeway exit Valley Circle Boulevard. Head north to Vanowen St. Turn left.
