DESCRIPTION:How about we do something unconventional\, let's beat the heat and walk in air conditioned luxury at the Oaks Mall!\\n\\n\\n\\nI can hear you saying\, "That Old Jimbo is totally off of his rocker" and you would probably be right on both counts! - Yes\, I am old(er) and the elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor anymore\, but what the heck\, at least I will be getting some exercise and not sitting on the couch watching reruns of the Twilight Zone!\\n\\n\\n\\nMalls are definitely going the way of the Dinosaurs\, with all of the online buying options and AMAZON!!! Don't get me wrong\, I do like those 4-8 a.m. next day deliveries\, but whenever possible I like to buy from and support my community businesses.\\n\\n\\n\\nSo here is my plan (which\, of course is subject to change at my whim)\, lets do somewhere around 4-6 laps (.8 miles per) with varieing routes using stairs\, escalators (yes\, you can go up the down escalators and down the up escalators - think StairMaster) with stops to window shop\, purchase something or maybe even a free sample at See's Candies!\\n\\n\\n\\nWe will follow up the evening with a bite to eat at one of the numerous restaurants or the food court (we will make a group decision).\\n\\n\\n\\nSo\, if you're Brave Enough and Really Don't Care What Anyone Thinks\\nor You're just Bored\, join me for an entertaining evening...I might be by myself\, but at least I won't be alone 😬\\n\\n\\n\\nWhat to bring: A smile and cash/credit card\, no "ten essentials" needed!\\n\\n\\n\\nDistance: 3-4.5 miles\\nElevation: 100'\\nDangers: Mall Rats\, maxing out your credit cards or forgetting where you parked your car!
