Turn left onto Los Padres Drive.\\n\\n\\n	The Los Padres Trailhead is on the right\, close to the corner of Moorpark Road and Los Padres Dr.\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nThe hike starts with a short walk through a forest of oak trees that canopy the trail with wooden bridges and a babbling creek. The forest fades into a canyon of lush vegetation and a single trail that ascends to the Los Robles Trail junction\, this is the toughest part of the hike with a steady incline of about 250 feet.\\n\\n\\n\\nAt the junction the trail opens into a fire road\, we'll take a right and continue to climb with an elevation of another 150 feet or so that will level out near the top. We will then turn right and head to the benches at the top. We will take a short break and enjoy breathtaking views of Conejo valley.\\n\\n\\n\\nOn the way down\, we will then descend through the canyon and into a lush trail through a second forest of oak trees that ends at Greenmeadow Ave. From here\, we will walk on the sidewalk to the trailhead where we started.\\n\\n\\n\\nEssentials\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n	Ventura County Search and Rescue (SAR) 10 Essentials\\n\\n\\n	Bring 2 liters of water\, flashlights\, snacks\, electrolytes\\n\\n\\n	Bring your hiking poles if needed.\\n\\n\\n	Wear good hiking boots/shoes\, sunscreen\, hat\\n\\n\\n	Bring a jacket for cooler weather\\n\\n\\n	Bug spray\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nOther Details\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n	Trail: Combination of a single-track and fire road\\n\\n\\n	Dogs: On a leash per state law\\n\\n\\n	Restrooms: Nope\\n\\n\\n	Water Fountain: None\\n\\n\\n	Parking: Free\\n\\n\\n	Known Dangers: Slip-'n-fall\, rattlesnakes\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nEven More Details\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n	Hot weather\, high winds\, rain\, or fire will cancel this hike\\n\\n\\n	My hikes are slow paced (1.5-2 mph)\\n\\n\\n	Hiking time is only an estimate\, we do not rush\\n\\n\\n	As a team\, we take breaks\, explore and we don't leave anyone behind\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\nDISCLAIMER / RELEASE OF LIABILITY:\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n	You must RSVP to attend this event\, no exceptions.\\n\\n\\n	The PM Hiker organizers are not trained leaders and do not confirm the qualifications of any of its members to lead or participate in trips.\\n\\n\\n	If you sign up for any event\, you are releasing the PM Hiker organizers from all liability in case of possible injuries.\\n\\n\\n	Hiking and other outdoor events can be dangerous\, and accidents can happen.\\n\\n\\n	Per Meetup rules\, you are responsible for your own safety and well-being.
