About This Event
This is a make-up hike for the VIPs after postponing the highly anticipated Jack and the Beanstalk hike. Since I posted a hike on Mothers' Day its only fair that I post this one on Fathers' Day.

We'll hike along undocumented and unmaintained trails in Upper Las Virgenes Canyon, exploring my new secret trails at Ahmanson Ranch.

Many historic movies were filmed at Ahmanson Ranch, then known as Lasky Mesa. Among the movies were Gone With the Wind, The Thundering Herd, The Charge of the Light Brigade and They Died With Their Boots On.
Hike will be about 6 miles, but don't quote me!

Not only will this hike include new secret trails, I will have some cold adult beverages waiting for us back at the trail head.

The trail head is at the west end of Victory Blvd. Pay a few bucks in the parking lot, or park free on the street. I'll be in parking lot -- the better to serve you after hike. πΊπΉ
