Now in it's 9th year, Ventura Land Trust's Wild and Scenic Film Festival is Ventura County's premiere film event. This year, the festival is bigger, bolder and better than ever. The best part - it's happening outside under the stars!
This year the festival will be at the beautiful campus of the Ventura County Credit Union on Vista Del Mar Drive in Ventura.
The new venue boasts beautiful ocean views and a huge grassy lawn where festivalgoers can sit back and relax on blankets and low-back chairs while enjoying a lineup of award-winning short films that educate, entertain and inspire
Festivalgoers can sit back and relax on blankets and low-backed chairs while enjoying an array of award-winning short films that educate, entertain and inspire. On top of that, there will be two live bands, food trucks serving up tasty grub, beer, wine and cocktail purveyors, family-friendly games and activities, participation by a variety of other environmentally-minded community partners plus the legendary Ventura Land Trust raffle.
Hosted by Ventura Land Trust (VLT), the Wild and Scenic Film Festival connects VLT's Ventura County work to protect, preserve and restore wilderness areas and wildlife habitat to the greater global environmental movement. Proceeds from the event fund VLT's ongoing open space preservation projects.
