About This Event
CicLAvia, where the streets of Los Angeles are closed to only those on bicycle, foot, or other - skateboard, etc (I have seen paddle boarders on wheels) can navigate their way through a predetermined series of closed streets for seven hours will be happening this Sunday, October 5. I will meeting my team at the 7th/Pico stop off the Redline at 10:00 and will ride for about three - four hours. There will be lots of fun, people, an opportunity to see the city in a whole new way. The route this year will be primarily on Broadway, 2nd, 4th, and Cesar Chavez streets and will be an experience that you will want to do again. So much that the LA County Bicycle Coalition has scheduled another CicLAvia for Sunday, December 7 - an infamous day for many. ANY questions, call/text/email the bicycle coordinator for the stars - Joe Phillips 818 348-8884 recreationbyjoe@yahoo.com http://www.ciclavia.org/files/100514_map_V7-7514.pdf What is CicLAvia?
