About This Event
This moderate 10-mile hike will take place in Malibu Creek State Park. We'll start at the eastern end of the Grasslands Trail and head over to Craggs Rd, go past the MASH site and then up Bulldog. I am calling this hike "Mini-Bulldog" because part way up Bulldog there is a side loop that we will take via Lakeside Lateral. Its a pleasant and sometimes overgrown trail that will lead us to an abandoned stone house. We will not be going all the way up to Castro Crest.
We will meet at the Grasslands Trail head on south side of Mullholland Hwy about 0.1 mile west of Las Virgenes Rd. There is plenty of roadside parking on Mulholland
From the 101 Fwy: Exit Las Virgenes/Malibu Canyon. Turn south toward the beach 3.3 miles then turn right on Mullholland Hwy and park about 0.1 miles up the road.
From PCH: Turn north on Malibu Canyon for 4.6 miles then turn left onto Mulholland Hwy and park about 0.1 miles up the road.
