The Festival is a celebration with a purpose, highlighting the dynamic connection between the City’s communities, businesses, art, culture and the environment while offering ideas and options for a greener, healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.
This sounds like a lot of outdoor fun. And I'm sure we'll get a lot of walking time.
Festival Components
• Performances Enjoy a day filled with energetic music and colorful dance from groups: Vaud and the Villains, La Santa Cecilia, Dustbowl Revival and Lux Aeterna. • Global Café Think global. Eat local. Food truck fare from cultures near and far. • Bazaar Browse goods from local shops and colorful arts and crafts vendors from around the block and around the planet. • DIY Get crafty at hands-on art workshops for all ages. • Eco Zone Paint the town green as you learn about earth-friendly organizations that create positive and sustainable change locally, nationally, and internationally. • Town Square Meet the individuals and organizations who are committed to making Santa Monica shine.
