SUMMARY:Gold Canyon Trail to Wildwood Park
DESCRIPTION:This hike starts at Gold Canyon Trail to Wildwood Canyon Trail and passes through various trails with a long creek\, crossing streams and bridges\, Indian caves\, volcanic rock cliffs\, water falls\, cacti-filled desert environs\, riparian forest\, and wildflowers. Highlights of the hike include waterfalls incorporating 40’ Paradise waterfalls along tree canopies over approximately 5 miles with about 1000’ of elevation gain/loss. \nOptional post-hike brunch at Eggs-N-Things (805) 497-1711\n1542 N Moorpark Rd\, Thousand Oaks\, CA 91360. \nDirections: \nFrom the 101 in Thousand Oaks\, turn north on Lynn Road and continue to Avenida De Los Arboles\, then turn left. Continue for about a half mile to Velarde Dr.( next to Wildwood Elementary School) and turn left and then turn left again at San Velarde Circle. \nFrom the 118\, travel west to the 23\, exit at Avenida De Los Arboles and turn right.
