SUMMARY:Lone Pine Four Day Vacation
DESCRIPTION:I’m planning a 4-day trip to Lone Pine April 9-12 (Thursday-Sunday)\, I hope you can join me. \nYou will be placed on a wait list. I will move you to going when you correctly answer the question that I have asked. The attendee limit is 20. Let me know if you want to bring a guest. \nOn Thursday\, April 9\, meet me at the Eastern Sierra Visitor Center\, just outside of town\, at 12:00pm. We can view the exhibits\, have a picturesque view of Mount Whitney\, use the restroom and just relax for a bit before heading to lunch at The Grill on Main Street. \nVisitor Center Website\nThe Grill (Yelp) \nBelow is my agenda\, but in no particular order: \n\nManzanar: Visitor Center\, the barracks\, cemetery\, gardens\, and grounds\nWhitney Portal with a possible hike to the Lone Pine lake. I can’t guarantee I will be able to do this hike due to the high elevation\, but others can hike it if they choose\nAlabama Hills: Drive the Movie Road and see the sites that movies were filmed\,\nDrive through dirt roads to view interesting rock formations\nHike the Alabama Hills trails\nAlabama-Mohawk Mine\nMuseum of Western Film\nBristlecone Pine Forest\nHeadwaters of the Los Angeles Aqueduct\n\nIn early April\, I will email those going with a complete agenda of the activities. \nYou will need to arrange your own accommodations through Airbnb or hotels.
