DESCRIPTION:Let’s get a hike in before the forecasted deluge Thursday-Sunday! Bring a snack to share at the beautiful Olympic Farms Overlook as we revel in the midday sun. 🌞 \nThis is a pleasant\, scenic hike of ~5 miles with a total elevation of ~380 feet. The hike is definitely suitable for fit beginners\, but we do tend to go at a faster pace. \nThere is a more challenging and slightly longer route that parallels the main trail and offers ~500 feet elevation gain\, which more experienced hikers can do if they desire. \nThere are several picnic tables at the Olympic Farms Overlook\, with a gorgeous view\, where we can enjoy a few snacks and linger for ~15 minutes before we return by the same route. \nStart time: 2:00 PM\nTrailhead location: Wendy trailhead (see map below)\nSunset: 4:53 PM\, which should not be a problem \nRestroom: Bushes 🤷🏼‍♀️\nBring: Food and/or beverages to share\n**Please bring cups/utensils etc. if needed**\nKnown dangers: Poison oak\, insects\, possibility to slip and fall\nDogs: No \nDISCLAIMER / RELEASE OF LIABILITY: \n• You must RSVP to attend this event\, no exceptions.\n• If you choose to sign up for any event\, you are releasing the organizers of PM Hikers from all liability in case of possible injuries.\n• The organizers of PM Hikers are not trained leaders and we do not confirm the qualifications of any of its members to lead or participate in trips.
