SUMMARY:Rainy Day Urban Walk - Championship Drive in Moorpark
DESCRIPTION:After the rain\, the sun will shine! \nThis is a 4 mile walk with an elevation gain of 700′\, suitable for beginners. \nMeet me at 6:00pm at Mammoth Highlands Park in Moorpark. We will walk to the Moorpark Country Club on Championship Road\, and back. \nBring water and a flashlight\, it will be chilly so dress warm. Wear good walking shoes. Bring an umbrella just in case. Dogs are permitted on a leash. The bathrooms at the Mammoth Park may be open but I’m not sure. \nMy hikes are slow paced (1.5-2 mph) and the end time is approximate only. We take breaks\, we explore\, and we don’t leave anyone behind.
