SUMMARY:Rancho Sierra Vista to Ranch Overlook Figure 8 Loop ~ gentler friendly
DESCRIPTION:This will be a figure 8 loop throughout the upper mesa of Rancho Sierra Vista. We will enjoy green vistas and hopefully some flowers. Bring plenty of water\, wide hat\, sturdy shoes or boots and hiking poles if you favor them. \nTotal distance is roughly 6 miles\, with about 1000′ of elevation gain. There is little shade during this hike. \nNote that this is a gentler hike but not a beginner hike. It is a convoluted trail so we will try to keep the group together. We will go about 2.5mph. Please plan to keep up and stay together as one group. \nDirections: \nRancho Sierra Vista/Point Mugu · Newbury Park\, CA \nHow to find us\nExit Ventura Fwy (101) at Lynn Road. Take Lynn Road southwest 5.25 miles to Via Goleta. Rancho Sierra Vista entrance (through the stone pillars and arch) is on the left.
