Come and join me on a more difficult route to Angel Vista!
Fellow hiker (Lina )who is faster paced than me volunteered to be in front as I probably will be slower but she requested I host this hike again as I hosted it over 3 years ago.
This is not for beginners, there are some steep sections that I would recommend using poles on and where quite possibly I will be lagging behind on but Lina says she can take you up and down.

We will start at Wendy and Potrero because parking there is best. Then take a side route to the start of the trail.
Distance: 6 ish miles
Elevation Gain: 1300 Ft
Difficulty: Intermediate not for beginners due to pace and steepness
Dogs: Please no dogs
Restrooms: No
Water Fountain: No
Parking: There is parking by the official trail but the gate closes at 4 pm so we don’t park at that spot. Meet and Park at Wendy and Potrero parking area
Trail: Out and back
Sunset: 6:18 pm you must have a headlamp or flashlight for this hike
Weather: unusually hot, windy or rainy weather will cancel the hike
Known Dangers: slip-‘n-fall, poison oak, heatstroke if it is really warm

• Bring: at least 2L of water to be safe and optional snack in case you get hungry or want to share at the bench mid stopping point.
• Flashlight/headlamp/extra layer in case it gets cool on way down
• Sunscreen and hat in case you need starting out
• I suggest hiking/trail shoes with good traction and possibly hiking poles. There is a really steep section and I am not sure the condition of the trail.
