SUMMARY:Santa Rosa park across new bridge and up to Lizards Rock
DESCRIPTION:We will start this hike at 8:30 because it is getting warmer. We will start at Santa Rosa parking lot\, cross the bridge over the water and hike down to the new bridge. So we will not start up the road in the parking lot\, instead we will cross over the bridge and go to the new bridge. We will cross the new bridge and hike up to Lizards Rock. At Lizards Rock we will turn around and go back the same way to the cars.\nThis hike is about 5 miles with a 900-1000’ elevation gain/loss. Bring lots of water\, the hike is rather exposed. \nDirections: \nFrom Moorpark Road in the Santa Rosa Valley\, drive west on Santa Rosa Road for 3.7 miles\, turn left (south) on Hill Canyon Road for about 0.6 miles to the parking lot. \nFrom the 101 Freeway in Camarillo\, take exit 52 onto Santa Rosa Road and drive northeast.
