DESCRIPTION:Wildflowers and other Wonders of the Santa Barbara and Ojai Mountains \nFree Presentation with Q&A \nThursday\, March 19\, 6:30pm\nFaulkner Gallery – Santa Barbara Public Library\n40 East Anapamu St.\, Santa Barbara\, CA \nThis talk will move through the different habitats in our local mountains and the wildflowers that can be found in each\, including Riparian\, Oak Woodland\, Chaparral\, and Conifer Forests. Also woven in will be several trails where one can find some of these wildflowers and other wonders. \nJoin author James Wapotich as he shares images and stories from his treks and wanders in our local backcountry. James is a trail guide\, UC Certified California Naturalist\, and the author of the Santa Barbara News-Press hiking column\, Trail Quest.
