SUMMARY:San Buenaventura Mission Aqueduct → Ojai Jail → Lake Casitas
DESCRIPTION:This won’t be your usual Ojai ride. Along the way to Ojai\, on a detour off the paved Ojai Ventura River Parkway Trail\, we will be viewing some of the remaining artifacts of the San Buenaventura Mission aqueduct. We’ll have a picnic lunch in Ojai and return via a swing by Lake Casitas and Santa Ana Rd making a loop. \nHistorical Note \nThe late 18th century aqueduct was an ambitious early-California waterworks built to bring water from the Ventura River / San Antonio Creek to Mission San Buenaventura and its fields — roughly a seven-mile system of stone-and-mortar channels\, siphons and holding tanks. \nThe aqueduct suffered over time from flood damage\, agricultural reuse of its materials\, and later development. Large stretches were destroyed in the devastating winter floods of 1861–62 and\, afterward\, pioneer settlers often removed stones for house foundations or leveled sections for cultivation and roads. By the late 19th and early 20th centuries most of the original channel had disappeared. \nWe’ll visit some of what remains during our tour. Ride is about 34 miles with 1200 feet total ascent. See https://www.komoot.com/tour/2669605438 for path details \nDirections \nPoint your gps to the parking lot next to Museum of Ventura County. We’ll meet on the Main St end of lot. From here we are walking across the street to Valdez Alley and check out the Mission reservoir

Our route intensifies as we climb up See Canyon Road\, passing by orchards and vineyards nestled along the way. The pinnacle of the route is a gorgeous summit view at the top of Prefumo Canyon. We’ll take in the accomplishment of our climb before shifting downhill to Prefumo Canyon Road’s open space and cattle-dotted grass. We’ll loop around and explore downtown San Luis Obispo then down S. Higuera Street as we journey back to port. \nMore details to follow with things to do along the way

SUMMARY:🔋eBike Battery for Sale - Like New - Swap or Buy 📉
DESCRIPTION:📉 PRICE DROP! – I purchased a non-returnable 52v/25Ah (1300 Wh) battery but it does not fit my bike – by about 1/4 inch. I paid over $398 with tax. I am willing to swap or sell. I figure $300 is fair — obo. \nYou can pick up or I can deliver locally. Battery includes mounting rail\, charger\, etc. See pics in Photo album. You will receive it in original box \nMy current config is a Bafang BBS02 motor with a 48v/17.5Ah battery. The plan was to use my 48v battery as a 2nd battery. My BBS02 motor is compatible with a 52v battery\, The BBSH2 ought to be also. I can’t say for other motors. Please check with your supplier. \nFeel free to text me at 818.297.7993 \nThanks for reading\,\nDean\nYour Organizer
